This is a notification that road stabilization construction work will begin along 3 Mile Road from Hotchkiss Road to Midland Road next week (weather dependent).
The cement stabilizing of the roadbed will include coating the road with powder content and then mixing it into the underlying aggregate base. Once the powder cement is applied to the aggregate, it will be mixed into the aggregate for a short period of time (less than 30 minutes).
AVOID DRIVING THROUGH POWDER CEMENT (POWDER CEMENT HAS A LIGHT GREY APPEARANCE)! IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE!
During this process, the road will be closed to all traffic except residents, and emergency vehicles. Residents will have access to their residence throughout construction, except when cement powder is placed; there may be short delays.
