Monitor Township Hall is available for rent every day of the year except holidays and days set aside for elections. The Hall seats 300 people and includes a full commercial kitchen and a bar with a walk-in cooler.
There are (50) eight-foot tables and (300) chairs.
Air Conditioning has been installed.

Yard Waste is picked up starting the week of April 14th through the week of December 8th. Your pickup day is the day after your regular trash day and includes leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, twigs, and branches less than 3 inches in diameter. Branches & brush must be in bundles less than 4 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter. Compost materials must be placed either in rigid containers labeled “YARD WASTE” or in brown paper yard waste bags. Containers must weigh less than 50 pounds. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted.
Recycling is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. Recycling must be put in the green toter with a yellow lid. All recycling items must be placed in the toter. Any items placed outside of the toter will not be picked up (this includes cardboard.) Additional recycling toters are available for a monthly fee, please call Waste Management 800-796-9696 to place your order.
NOTE: The shaded areas of the Waste Management Schedule are the recycle weeks.
Did you know that the Bay County Environmental Health Department collects and disposes of some items that cannot be recycled? Automotive, Cleaning, Garden/Lawn, Personal/Health and Paint Products can be scheduled for drop off.
